Whilst we see the death, destruction and despair of wars beaming from our screens, many of us remain distant from the theatre of conflict. Martin Bell, former BBC war correspondent, has for many years reported from the midst of war torn society. With that experience he has become an avid campaigner highlighting the futility of war.
