Kidding Around
Issue 58 July 2009
Looking for fun ideas to keep your kids busy in the Summer?
fret not, these fantastic tips ensure your kids get into the holiday spirit. Results are shiny, happy little people.
Put on a play
Creating short sketches or a bigger production will help children with their speech and confidence. They can’sell’ tickets or even put on their own pantomime with a twist like ‘Cinder White’– a cross between Snow White and Cinderella. It’s guaranteed to have kids and adults alike in fits of laughter.
Garden Camping
Whilst a whole family camping trip is a wonderful adventure, if you can’t manage it this summer then let the kids do a garden camp. A night or two spent in a tent builds confidence and closeness to nature. It can also conquer a child’s fear of the dark.
