FAQ

What can I wear to Rollerdisco?

Anything you like! Fancy dress, glam up, be comfortable — whatever you wear, just be ready to roller disco your socks off!

Do I have to bring my own skates?

No. Your skate hire is included in the price of the ticket.

How will you ensure the premises is secured for a girls only event?

We aim to provide a safe, clean and fun environment for the first of many girls only Rollerdisco evenings. We work closely with the Renaissance Rooms venue to ensure that only female stewards are available on the evening, as well as a female DJ and medical staff

What if I don’t know how to skate?

We know how you feel — how can you be expected to defy gravity like that?! Don’t worry. There will be fully trained, skating-queen stewardesses present on the night who will be joining you on the dance floor for support.

What if I have valuables that I’m afraid of skating with in case they get damaged?

It’s probably best to leave your favourite Chanel sunglasses at home! But in case you want to bring them along for a truly FIERCE picture, then the venue has a cloakroom on site, charged at £1 per locker. But please be advised that valuable are brought to the venue at owner’s risk.

What if I don’t want to skate?

Dance instead – the DJ is awesome! Grab yourself a drink, and settle down in one of the many comfy booths dotted around the dance floor with your girls for a catch up. We guarantee you’ll have plenty to keep you entertained on the night!

How do I get there?

The Renaissance Rooms venue is accessible from Vauxhall Station, which is located on the Victoria line. Take Exit 6 from the station, and walk straight ahead to cross the intersection. The Renaissance Rooms is located on the left-hand side, under the bridge, opposite Sainsbury’s.
