We are thrilled to have Oxfam as our official partner for the Miral film screening. Dedicated to aiding humanitarian crises all over the world, Oxfam have been working in Palestine since 2008. Their projects are intensive and varied, including water sanitation, trauma therapy, cash-for-work programmes and many more.In support of this critical and urgent humanitarian aid work, emel will be donating 20% of all ticket proceedings, and 30% of all magazine sales on the film night to Oxfam's projects in Gaza and the West Bank. Empowering women olive-growers in the West Bank
For many Palestinians, olive oil is a highly revered symbol of national pride, a familial bond linking generations to their ancestral land and a crucial part of their livelihood. Oxfam is empowering women and small-scale farmers to establish producer organisations throughout the West Bank - including enabling 30 olive oil cooperatives to improve the quality and marketing of their olive oil. The project enables olive growers to obtain Fair Trade accreditation, access new global markets and fetch a premium price for their produce. Donate Now

Improving access to water and sanitation in Gaza
In Gaza, many schools have been damaged or destroyed by conflict. Oxfam is helping to repair broken water systems and ensure that people have access to clean water. In schools and kindergartens, we've helped restore vital water and sanitation facilities. Children are taught the importance of personal hygiene through puppet shows, story-telling and songs. We also build areas where children can play in a safe environment away from the conflict. Donate Now
